I just got back home from the Seattle leg of Billy Joel's world tour, and wow...
The man still sings about as well as he did decades ago, yet he also plays the piano and guitar each at least as well as Izawa (though his style is more or less appealing to different types of music fans), and he had some serious accompaniment (including the best trumpet playing I've ever heard - short of legends like Miles Davis). Great stage lighting, great setlist, great MCs... great everything. I'd gladly go to another one of his performances, but this could very well be his final tour. After familiarizing myself with songs like It's Still Rock And Roll To Me during the first four years of my life, then personally witnessing Billy Joel perform it over twenty years later, from the best view the venue offered... is one of those crucial life experiences to check off on my list like paint a self-portrait, or build a house, etc.. Billy Joel - Zanzibar (Album version, Unfaded)

Yay! If you get an album, make sure it's 'Up The Bracket'.
