I only just now saw the video and kind of hate it. It makes the whole thing into more of an exercise in irony than I have been hearing it as. The visual accompaniment is also painfully literal too much of the time.

. . . But good song. Actually, I like the whole album.

J - Nowhere


The original version is my favorite J song, but the acoustic version takes it to another level. J's soft side is quite endearing. He does a better job singing live than on the album too.

Her albums are always hit and miss. Most of her songs are lightweight mando-pop. Occasionally when a song is good, it's probably written by some western artist (like Cocteau Twins or Cranberries). One girl who sat next to me in middle school was obsessed with Faye Wong. She also liked crap singers such as Stefanie Sun and Nicholas Tse. Truly music for Chinese school-girls...

I agree Fable is a good album. My favourite is her Teresa Teng cover album Decadent Sounds of Faye.
