YesAsia ships from Hong Kong
Shipping is free if you live in HK, it costs more if you live in the States. |

Is YesAsia eating the shipping cost from Japan to their Hong Kong warehouse? Judging by the base prices they charge, I would say they're passing the cost of 1st-generation shipping onto customers. YesAsia's 2nd-generation shipping (from Hong Kong to anywhere) costs hardly anything, so it makes little difference whether or not you're getting that shipping for free, when you're still indirectly paying a lot more for the goods to have been transported out of Japan. It's not like an embedded Japanese sales tax, where it's considered a normal part of the price, while a minority doesn't pay it. Everyone pays for the 1st-generation shipping, plus a little more for YesAsia to be able to stay in business. It's cheaper to buy in bulk from CD Japan, even if you live in Hong Kong.

Yes Asia gives free worldwide shipping if you go over 50 US, which is easy with Japanese CDs. I don't like ordering from there cause it takes ages to get to your door though.
And worse comes to worse and there is a different version of Dai Hakken that shows up, it's easy enough to cancel and re-order. EDIT: also, I think the only thing everyone's gonna agree on about this album is that it's got a pretty damn cool album cover Last edited by deadgrandma : 2011.05.16 at 04:50 PM. I really hope you are not that bothered by Shiina Ringo having fun. Do you want her to be serious all the time and never smile? We all know smiling is immature. |

It seems like there is a disconnect with some of us when it comes to the "big picture." A rock star sticking out his tongue, holding up the orbs or the horns, thats standard, if not played and tacky. An AV idol striking an anime pose is expected, if not played and tacky. You realize its not just sticking up a V-sign, right? Look. at. the. picture. Shiina threw up V-signs in '99 too, but not sticking out her butt, cocking her head, and making a pouty face. This lady wrote the fucked up stuff in KZK. Say how its not "wrong" all you want, but something seems "not right." Now, Shiina Ringo has been likened to several western counterparts. Alanis Morrisette was a common one back when, but by now that's so far detatched, it's not fair. Probably the most common analogy I've encountered is Bjork (regardless of your or my stance on Bjork.) What if Bjork came out posing like an anime doll? Bjork is certainly eccentric (far more so than Shiina Ringo ever was,) but certainly there would be a hard time spent reconciling that. (And yet if Bjork did, it wouldn't be that surprising and would probably mean something more than we're getting here.) Basically what I'm saying is that I think the forum should admit that she's a Jpop performer and little more anymore. Just one person (that's not Maou or JR, who I know are probably more than ready to admit that, or have admitted it years ago.) I can't even call Shiina a Jpop "elder statesman" (like say, Puffy or Ayumi) because she hasn't even been doing it for that long! The new(er) fans see nothing wrong with commercials, doing photo ops with other young pop acts, its all fair game. And it is fair game: for certain types of performers. Specifically Jpop performers like Perfume. (and before another straw man wants to bring up that Shouso Strip was pretty darn popular in Japan, it is clearly not the same. Inherently. If you are thinking of posting this, please refrain. Don't bother.)

You can only be certain that she is uncertain.
Well, now that you say, Kameda is also sticking out his ass. No reason for him to do that. (EDIT: Now that I think back to DYNAMITE OUT!, Ringo called him gay) Now comes the trollpart(don't rage please), they were just trying to include everyone into the picture. If Ringo and Kameda were to stand up, the people at the back would be blocked. People at the back would sadface.jpg. Therefore, they lean out. Get to take everyone's photo, everyone's a winner. Well, that's just my opinion. Singaporean girls always do this to squeeeeeeeze everyone into the photo. Awkward scenario when guys are standing at the back of the girls... But still... the guy at the back... Last edited by W3iHong : 2011.05.16 at 09:08 PM. |

Sometimes I think that people mistakes Ringo with some kind of entity, saint or messiah. Let's not forget that she's a mere human being, like you and me.
