Hey remember that time when the new fans and some of the old fans loved Adult because suddenly she was more "mature" then? Good times. We've now come full circle.

Ringo's vajayjay would show if she squatted with her high hemline. As for Kameda...I have no idea.

I said some posts ago that she is regaining her youth, and acting more like a teenage now than before, but I have no problems with that at all. I was a tomboy when I was in high school, always wearing ripped clothes, bad hair, listened only to rock n' roll, and that was a phase. Rock n' roll is still my life, but there are so many other things in the world for me to taste! Today I am a lot more feminine than I ever was, and I think when I'm on my 30's, I'll be even more feminine than I am today. Just like her. People grow, but the essence will always be the same.
I agree with people who are saying she bended over so everybody could show on the pic (lucky guy the one right behind her ) and even if that wasn't the reason, I don't give a damn! I could care less if she bends over or spread her legs in a pic, what I'm more interested is in her/TJ music. Oh, and I think Kameda is the most cute person in TJ, so it's not a surprise to me how cute he looks in this pic. (he is the ONLY person in the world that makes me say "kawaii" from the bottom of my heart)

ringo looks the same in some of these as she does in pre-MM era photographs and video.
also, for everyone that is complaining about that picture in the glass studio, that is actually a very public location in shibuya, you can walk by and see artists taping various radio talk shows and its custom that they take pictures there along that fashion, so Ringo was just bending down to include the fans the same as most other artists have. people are going nuts over these photos, man. in other news I got my copy of the single in the mail and am actually really enjoying these two songs. It makes me look forward to the album with only slight hesitation. What killed Tengoku and Dopamint for me was the production so I'm looking forward to new mixes. |

Like kuro_neko, I've also been enjoying the single and am looking forward to the album. I don't have iTunes, so even though I'm not crazy about Dopa and Tengoku at least I'll have them at my fingertips. Or at least their new versions. "Discovery" is a good strong theme for an album, and that's what TJ has been missing lately in their albums. Themes. Targets. Agendas. Clarity of vision. Coherence. These are things I want to hear more of. Pleasure and catchiness and technical proficiency are a given. I want this next album to focus on something, anything. I love SR and TJ, obviously, but at this point I'm hungry for substance, weight, and purpose. I really think Sora ga and Onna no ko wa have it, and I hope the rest of the album measures up. |

I think naming an album "Discovery" just sets reallllly high expectations. The previous time there was an album called Discovery, it was so damn good.
Let me refresh your memory.
Still sounds good after 10 years.
