It's comedy drama about Ueba Kamo who turns Ministry of Finance bureaucrat in Tokyo to
traditional Japanese inn proprietress in Kyoto. |

More info here, including credits and ratings.
http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Kamo,_Kyoto_e_Iku. Browsing around the drama section at the local Asian DVD store, I couldn't believe the number of recent shows about a woman "growing" into some exotic profession: female cops, lawyers, doctors, pilots, etc. etc. battling the system, etc. etc. Cheesy....but addictive. |

That sounds super dumb!
There are lot of shows like that in the US too, where these women get important jobs but act really childish and are emotionally unstable. Like Ally McBeal or Grey's Anatomy. |

So 2ch reporting that Kameda is on bass and Hata on drums. How reliable a source is 2ch? I guess we'll have to wait and see till official credits come out.
Guess its not too unreasonable.... Kameda has always been there and Hata ain't gonna get a better paying gig than being Ringo's drum bitch. I imagine those 2 woulda been the least problematic members in Jihen too. You know, Go With the Flow and Get Paid types.

finally listened to the whole track. the 2nd half of the track that wasn't in the preview is much more Ringo-esque and better than the 1st I must say, if the whole track sounded like the first half I would be a bit disappointed.
but what's up with the translated title? Couleurs Perfum? seems like she's continuing with the french trend |

links i've found recently:
the full audio stream of Irohanihoheto http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTUwNDExNDQ0.html a preview of Kodoku no Akatsuki for those curious http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNTUwNDExODk2.html the latter track had a different mix to it with her auto-tuning as heard from http://sadisticgossip.blogspot.ca/ I wonder if that particular mix will see ever see the light of day |
