And so far I've only heard about Natal supporting the big extremities like arms and legs, but not fingers.

oh yeah lets give Samus Aran over to Team-oversexed-13-yo-Ninja. That's a GREAT idea.

Then with that information, Microsoft have created "state of the art" human tracking algorithms so that it can differentiate between humans, animals, the couch etc. and between your Hawaiian T-Shirt and the patterned wallpaper. The software in it's currently state tracks 46 different moving joints on the human body.

To the people "let down" by this years E3 from Nintendo, it is a MUCH better showing than last year (Wiifit and WiiMusic)

Jonny Lee's blog post about Natal (he's working on it) and this Time article.
Milo can even see bags under your eyes and say "you're looking tired today". He welcomed a Eurogamer journalist into the room by saying "I like your blue shirt" and laughed when he told him a joke.

Jonny Lee is working FOR MICROSOFT ON Natal?
Or is he just working on it independently? Because his headtracking stuff from the Wii was the first stuff that came to my mind

Heavy Rain developer walkthrough. I think heavy rain is a perfect example of something that could benefit a lot of Natal. Since a lot of actions are supposed to be imitated with an analogue stick, using your body should feel natural. You could still hold a 360 control to walk, but the head movement could be done with your own head.

Metroid Gaiden is the best fucking thing of the show. Did you even see the trailer? Samus wasn't over sexualized at all. Do you even realize this only Team Ninja in name? Itagaki left and he took most of the important staff with him. The only "talented" member of the team left is Hayashi, but he's a hack. This Team Ninja has yet to make a game of their own.
