I like KZK less than the other two! Which is like saying you like chocolate fudge raspberry cheesecake ice cream, but not as much as rainbow vanilla candy cane with pop rocks, or tin roof macademia caramel swirl.

KSK as a fully realized album has the edge, but it doesn't have that rawness and spark or MM or SS to me. It's a bit too focused and concept-y for me to really love it, and the individual songs on it can't stand strong and unsupported like almost any given track on the other two can.

MM and SS work incredibly well back-to-back, or even scrambled up. Consistency of sound and attitude, with some changes in tempo. Any track can be played anytime, anywhere for a good ole Shiina tune.

KZK is in its own little world and has an arrogant air about it. You don't just "pop in" KZK, you set aside 44:44 and head off into that other world. Sometimes when a KZK song pops up on my mp3 player it feels weird, like it belongs somewhere else.

That's all my way of saying I don't know how to vote here.

I can't answer.

Muzai Moratorium would be the best 'what Ringo album would you take to a treasure island' album, while Shouso Strip would result in SR-fatigue very quickly.

KZK

Maybe I haven't "gotten it" yet, but it's not nearly as melodically strong as the first two albums. I don't think it reaches the highs of Heisei Fūzoku or SS's more avant-garde tracks, and most of the HF versions of the songs are the superior ones.

All have merits, but at least the HF stem is better, but its not better than vinyl/casshern ver.

Oh pls

All versions of that song are great. The differences arent massive either. The casshern ver is my fave cause its the midway ver.

Stop being a bully for no reason.

Now, now.

I LOVE HF. I'm not kidding, it's usually in my top 3 Shiina albums.

But there is no way the HF versions are "better" than KZK versions.
