DG has been linking me Oomori stuff for a while so I thought i'd add to what is essentially his thread-baby. Admittedly I've been warming up to her non-bubblegum stuff but her voice is still a major barrier. Not to sound like I'm bragging but I've tolerated/accepted a fair share of vocalists that I can't get most people to listen to. But I also don't listen to a lot of female-vocalist pop nor jpop so it's not really my expertise
edit: I do admire her composition and her attitude does remind me of the whole Togawa angle DG likes to go with, but Kyary bashing? Easy pickings

People who missed out on Kimi no Eiga 7" may have a second chance at getting it, with Rhion publishing a (still limited, but not as limited) second press on the 7th of July.
The main difference is that it will be in jacket format (not traditional 7" sleeve/insert like the original) and has very very slightly different cover: 2ND PRESS: If you look closely, the orange now has a sad face (quite condescending really :p) and is cropped: ORIGINAL If you want it at a reasonable price, get in quick. Jetset will most likely be your best option. If you're a collector and have to get first press, make sure you're looking carefully at the cover.

I don't know why I found this picture funny, but I did. Anyway, the mysterious bewbs single is out- still waiting for some kind of preview... might end up being that I will only hear it when I receive it... Seems it's sold out on Amazon already... or they've just stuffed up their ordering. Nevermind though, they've got my copy :-p Oomoris tweet about it is great too, roughly translating to: "Please buy, don't be shy of her beautiful big hooters". Well, consider it sold, with marketing THAT good I don't care if it turns out shit :-p

OH my god, boobs single is fucking weird in the best way possible. It's hyper bubble gum to the point of being sickening idol style music but I'm sure it's taken from the same anti-idol/ironic angle as Togawa was going for with Suki Suki Daisuki!! It's not too far from the first 2 songs on Zettai Shoujo, however, the production value is very DIY hipster-ish, and the songwriting is less focussed, go-with-whatever feeling, which is pretty cool to me. There's definitely a FUCK YOU attitude going on here. Love what I'm hearing! (that said, I'm a hyper Oomori stan- I can already guarantee a lot of people will not be able to stomach it, probably best to get used to Oomori's main releases first :-p)
Can't wait to get my CD so I can hear it in good quality.

She's doing Rock In Japan festival this year, apparently on 3 nights of it too.
One day I'll go to that festival, sounds epic as they get.
