OF COURSE, i hope no one of this community has been hurt !
You're all so bad-minded, I feel so sorry for you.
Don't worry about it, ParisJihen. Your post actually gave me a chuckle, which I appreciated, and I thought my own response would be taken as lightly.

The worst damage was in the Sendai area, and Okinawa and Kyushu (where, yes, Ringo grew up) got hit pretty hard.

This will be a time when artists come out of their cocoons and help the public....the decent ones, anyway, or those looking for redemption. I expect someone like Ringo is in a fortunate position to help people, after of course checking with relatives back home.

This is (a bit) lesser version of 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake.

Most of damage was caused by tsunami and it occurred
about 200km(125mi) long pacific coastline of northeast Japan
(Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures).

Sendai is largest city and almost center of that area.

Currently 636 dead and 1,300 dead+missing reported but it will be increased.

Sendai and Iwate by the coast are totally in ruins. The deaths will most definetly exceed 1000. There is some insane footage of the Tsunami airing on Japanese TV.

Tokyo is fine assuming nothing else happens. The water situation is a little iffy right now and the tremors every few hours are freaking everybody out.

It's the first time I saw Ikebukuro Station look like just anywhere else. Shinjuku kind of looks like a weekday at around noon. The suits are still robots. Everyone else is being a bit more human.

I should add this incident also has aspect of lesser version of Chernobyl.

I can't grasp what actually happens Fukushima NPP now,
but it looks more serious than TMI.

All of those prefectures.
Everyone in Japan, stay safe! I hope they can get water and power and everything back to normal-ish. Those nuclear reactors need to stay put too. Ughh.

Damn tsunamis.

I don't know, it doesn't look good.

Some heavy waves hit Northern California. Christ, I hope George Lucas is okay!

First new zealand now japan... This is probably not the last of the earthquakes to happen... Anyone who lives along the Pacific rim should be mentally prepared cuz there could be a next one.
