She's not old though. Not yet.
I've only started complaining recently, when she decided to go completely half assed with Sunny. Age has nothing to do with giving us an album with a half old songs, and one 5 year old track tacked on to the end. Bad album is bad album, regardless of age or kids. I like the new single though. Anyway, another couple of videos I got linked to, I think it's her LIVE MONSTER special. Haven't had time to watch/skip through but I believe it may be interview only.
It must be noted that this particular youtube uploader "POPPO2828" seems to have a few Ringo related goodies uploaded, might be a good idea to bookmark/subscribe to them.

I really hope you don't believe that.
In any case, the majority of people on this board seemed to enjoy Sunny regardless of its flaws. DG, you were the most vocal about disliking it, I believe. The album garnered positive reviews for the most part. At least from what I read. |

- Ukigumo with funky guitar part, interplaying with HZM, and actually being on-key on his backup vocals - HZM totally jamming out and showing off his keyboard chops - English lyrics - Midorin laying down some perfect jazz drumming - Upright bass - Crowd clapping along on beat. - Pretty good SR vocals too Last edited by thefro : 2015.02.12 at 06:30 PM. |

^It's certainly one of the better performances of this track for sure (and certainly a bit of a 'faith restorer' after the last couple of months of less than impressive Ringo moments -let us forget that NIPPON live...). I've always loved the "Expo" version of MS, I know it got a pretty bad wrap when it was released by MM version purists, though I don't know- I'd much rather this version over the original nowadays.
It was nice to get a breather from it for a while though, I think Jihen had just about worn this into the ground with all their different reinterpretations by the end of their run. However, it's interesting to feel giddy fanboy feels when hearing her do it after what seems a long time. Just goes to show the absolute sticking power/songwriting mastery that is behind Marunouchi Sadistic. Despite getting totally overplayed during the Jihen years, it will always be a welcome track for Ringo to bring home in her live shows. It really is a modern classic.

Nothing going on news-wise this last week or so, so how bout some more unfounded and wild speculation that I'll make up right now?
So we know Ringo was at the Grammys in LA, and that Aya and Bambi were in the area too. A few days ago Aya instagrammed that she was flying to NY with Bambi: http://instagram.com/p/zFHd0tmB0O See anything familiar in that nail art? Since then they've been uncharacteristically quiet on their social media accounts. So my wild, totally unfounded speculation is that they came here to NY along with Ringo to shoot the MV for JL005便で. (hey, we gotta fill the down times with something, right?) |

So...
Any thoughts on new bside? Im about as interested by it as I assumed so it's most likely Daihakken tier material. Btw, it seems confirmed that bside has a PV (maybe this is what she was shooting with Aya and Bambi?) Both are being shown on Nico Douga ●番組情報 『椎名林檎2015年第一弾シングル「至上の人生」発売記念 〜MV全篇バージョン上映会』 放送日:2015年2月25日(水)21:00 http://live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv211118 Another PV collection is coming along sooner than I expected it seems, with 4 videos now with no official home (IT WAS YOU, Nakata song and the 2 new songs)

Why is it "More Sunny"? Don't hear that much of a resemblance.
Well, I guess she shot two videos in the same day. They're exactly the same style. Anyone know who her band is now? |
