Default EGO WRAPPIN'

Any of you guys into them? In my opinion, they are the best Japanese Jazz band out there. I really love Nakano Yoshie, she turns into a freaking maniac when it comes to performing. To me that's what music is all about. Here they are in a live version of "Nervous Breakdown:"

I love EGO-WRAPPIN' (especially Yoshie's voice)!

By the way, thanks for all of your recommendations/discussions on these different artists, kamikaze.

yeah I love them too, especially Yoshie. When I see her live, I always think to myself, "man, this chick loves music," and I mean REALLY loves it, and there is something very profound about it.

and no problem, just trying to spread some music around, there's always room for some new music, or to be reminded of music you already like doesn't hurt either.

They are pretty good. My favorite song is either Nervous Breakdown or Mother Ship.

i heard they are awesome live too, and that even videos on youtube/internet don't do Nakano Yoshie any justice. I always seem to barely miss their live dates whenever I'm in Tokyo too.

also, if you guys are into EGO WRAPPIN' and haven't already checked out Yoshie's solo album, you should, it's pretty good.

I had no idea that EGO Wrappin' were a jazz band.
lol. JR doesn't really keep in touch with Japanese music that much anymore.
I'd like some *cough* high quality audio samples please.
お願いします
