news update:
according to minna no uta website, "futari bochi jikan" is written by Ringo and arranged by Saitou NEKO. and a puppeteer, Nori Sawa, produces the "image" of this song (not sure if its a video or other things..) will "futari bochi jikan" be the next "Ringo no uta" ? :p

I guess because I'm from America but I don't think kids get the whole gist of "sinful fruit" to begin with :\ it's just another phrase (that kids don't get and will probably will forget). Sinful doesn't always have to do with such scandalous things.

ROFL
I mean, what did we really expect, it makes sense. the japanese wiki says that for ringo no uta ringo is credited with her name in hiragana so her son could read it, and the credits for futaribocchi jikan reflect this same trend (except for neko's name O.o). Ringo is credited with all the songwriting, neko did the arrangement, so this could have a lot of instrumental work, although I'm somehow thinking it won't be all orchesta. I'm leaning towards a light pop rock song, like with light acoustic guitar and soft drums with a nice supporting string quarter or something of the like. We associate Neko's name with huge big bands, but he has contributed to her solo albums in smaller ways before. Besides, hasn't he contributed in one way or another to every single one of her albums? If Neko didn't appear somewhere it just wouldn't be a Ringo album. But lets hope his involvement doesn't carry over onto the entire record ala HF. in case anyone is curious, hattori takayuki arranged ringo no uta for ringo. out of curiosity, what other songs did neko arrange for ringo besides the stuff on HF and the orchestra lives? Was there anything on KZK or SS or MM? |

also, this is super weird
did you know "inoue uni" pretty much produced most of ringo and tokyo jihen's work since shouso strip? when he and ringo produced KZK they used a different name together, bakeneko killer I think it was called. but still, I wonder if he will produce Sanmon Gossip. Probably. He produced HF, but maaaaan, what a crazy guy. We got KZK from him, but he produced Variety too... |

Did he not also arrange the house-y Yokushitsu and also own a lot of the instruments on KSK? Sorry need to get to work so can't check the CD sleeve). But definitely interesting!
Thanks papilionidae, looks a good multimedia collaboration :p Edit: Yokushitsu Synthesizer programming – 中山信彦 Nobuhiko Nakayama ... so maybe not. Last edited by so_cold : 2009.04.28 at 04:41 AM. |

um according the japanese wiki saito neko arranged the yokushitsu on the HF version of it, although the original was arranged by Kameda if I'm not mistaken
as for the instruments, I read somewhere ringo played all the instruments you hear in torikoshi kurou and most of the instruments along the album as she recorded the album on her own computer in her own house and she would usually record each instrument entirely seperate and by itself in one room, then add the all together on the computer later. therefore it would seem she would own most of them as it wasn't made in a studio traditionally. however, when I look this up I don't see it while skimming the japanese wiki, so it is possible I either saw that somewhere else (the english wiki?) or it was taken out. |

Oops, sorry that's what I get for posting in a hurry. I associated Shouso Strip Yokushitsu and Inoue Uni for some reason.

by the way, i'm not sure if 井上”コンプ”宇仁天才 in Koufukuron (toki ga bousou suru) equals to Inoue Uni, cos he use alias quite often...
