Okay so here is that full article:

My quick intepretation is: This is the first time for Ringo to take charge of the music part of Kabuki. The play is called 三人吉三 (which according to a Japanese friend should be pronounced さんにんきちさく, sannin-kichisaku) and is played at Cocoon theatre in Shibuya. The song appears to be played during the 3rd act, and it's a ballad and named Treasure chest. There isn't a plan to release it on CD. I guess the value of it is felt by those who come to see the play (okay I'm really not understanding that sentence).
During 2003, Ringo had a chance to see "Natsumatsuri Naniwa Kagami" (I guess a play) being performed by Nakamura, and she grew fond of him. In last year's play "東海道四谷怪談" (Tokkaidou, something), during the time when audience were entering, a song named Yokusou (bathtub) was played (it doesn't say anything about Ringo making that, so I assume she didn't). This time there was an offer from Nakamura "to implement a unique tag" (I just guess, Nakamura offered Ringo to make a song).

I'm still working a translation for the Ringo quote. I think she says that she got an offer she couldn't resist.

Thanks for the quick translation, Jonny!! It seems like Ringo has good connections with unique artists/actors/movie people lately. That "Yokusou" song is a real coincidence!!

I guess there are no words, and won't sound like anything on HF probably. If it's a ballad, it's probably a song played by a few Japanese instruments? And if so, I'd like to hear what Ringo composed!

Are you sure it's kichisaku? I checked all the possible readings for that character and 'saku' is not one of them, and the possible readings for those characters together are Kichizou, Yoshizou, Yoshimi, and Yoshimitsu. I'm just wondering where that 'saku' came from. Please enlighten me!
