Okay, HOLD up... I finally watched this thing the whole way through, and noticed something that I don't think anyone else has mentioned here...

Are/Were Hasegawa Kiyoshi and Ringo dating?!?!

She refers to him as "watashi no daisuki no... [my beloved...]" not once but twice, touches him repeatedly throughout the show, seems to know his daughter pretty well, and then walks offstage with him arm-in-arm. what in the world!!!

Am I imagining things? Did anyone else notice this??

Well, he IS blind. Someone has to lead him offstage...and that could also explain some of the touching.

I also wondered what was up with all those longing-loving glances Ringo gave Kiyoshi, and the way she led him off stage made me think they went straight to her dressing room and banged away like deranged rabbits high on angel dust.

Then as soon as I realized (ahem, *learned on the internet*) that the sunglasses-wearing god of cool was actually bereft of sight, and that Ringo was simply being worshipful of his gifts and helpful with his physical movements, I knew I was a filthy-minded pig with a thought process that would embarrass the most ignorant stablehand.

I do feel bad for the guy----Ringo looked damn hot in those low-cut jeans.

ahhh. I forgot he was blind. Yes, that would explain some of it--but NOT the "watashi no daisuki" part. Except that she's had that male-singer-worship thing going on for a many a guy (Asai Kenichi, Mukai Shutoku, lead singer of Spitz, etc), so this just could be an extension of that. hmmmm...

His daughter really is cute though (Ringo calls her "totemo kyuuto [very cute]"). And a great flutist! I'm jealous...

Hhahahahha, Frecklegirl's speculation was soo funny!! XD Hahhaha, I couldn't stop laughing! >_<

Err, all the arguments on page 2 were really good. @_@ I want to give everyone a reputation point, but I dunno if that'd be overdoing the reputation system... >_<

Anyway for me, I also agree this DVD was a bit boring because it was similar to Baishou Ecstasy (from the one time I watched it, at least.) I have some friends that like classical guitars, so maybe I could show them the second concert. But I just didn't really like how Ringo sang "Fly Me to the Moon," and her piano playing seemed kind of unnecessary (although it was nice to see her play it again. >_<) Anyway, I think I'll really enjoy it when I'm older (like when I'm almost a grandma or something) so I'll probably watch it again sometime.

I kind of got the same feeling, but I think for me it's because I don't know very much about instruments. >_< I sometimes got the same feeling from HZM, but still enjoyed the music.

I'm surprised some people didnt know he was blind. I mean, he has someone escort him in, and he has big black glasses. I knew right away by his mannerisms and stuff. I guess thats just me @_@
