One of Ohtsuki's band Densha and Togawa Jun's band shares guitarist.
So they will have joint live on his 50th birthday May 2, 2015 at Shinjuku LOFT. |

Oh, I see! So it's the guitarist of BERATREK? I think I've only heard of them on a BECK manga omake cd or something. Still very cool news; wish I could be there to see them, seeing Jun and Kenji on the same night would be so cool.
Thanks Emil for the information and speedy reply. How is Densha? I was thinking of buying their album. |

I got Suki Suki (through fairly cheap ebay deal few years ago), Showa Kyounen and Yapoos - Keikaku, and I'm sorta annoyed because Tamahime is out of stock in all of the places I usually go to. There are used copies on Amazon marketplace but they go at retail prices or even more.
I do think it's amazing record, but I wonder if it wasn't released in large enough quantities or there's this huge demand for it. |

If you want the main solo releases, you should just buy the blu spec boxset on Y!A. Might seem expensive (averages around 15,000 yen) but its cheaper than hunting them all seperately.
Or go the vinyl route, if you have the setup for it. If you are going for CD, 2006 remasters (or 2011 blu specs- same master as 2006 just on blu spec specification discs and in mini LP sleeves) are the ones to go for. If you REALLY need Tamahime Sama (and everyone SHOULD really need it) though, PM me. I *might* be able to scrounge out a spare, somewhere in my many many boxes of Japanese music that I've accumulated over the years :-p

Hmm looks like my Suki, Suki Daisuki CD is the 2006 release, Keikaku and Showa Kyounen are 2012 SHM-CDs, and honestly I'm not an audiophile so blu spec or shm-cd does not make all that much difference to me
I don't want to be a bother and I'm not in a terrible rush to get Tamahime either, I might just find it on my own, thanks for the offer though. |

How has her schedule/activity been looking lately? All I can find is a birthday live a few months back.
Edit: So I found several shows over the past few months and two this month in Sapporo and Sendai. Is anyone following her closely? I'm wondering if there will probably be any shows after these two. Further south would be better for me. Last edited by kalmia : 2015.06.02 at 12:40 AM. |
