The 12+1 abo is both about 31-33€, so there no use in buying it from america.

But the points in germany are only availabe in 2100 and 3000 cards. The 2100 card ia about 25€, the 3000 38€
So 30€ for 4000 points is a really good deal.

Oh and EA sucks. Would you write them a mail, too?
I already complained about this price shit.

So, is anybody planning on getting GTA IV? Just checking in case anybody wants to play online. The review embargo ended today, and it's currently the best reviewed game of all time. With quotes like "Oscar worthy" and "The best game since Ocarina of Time" being thrown around, my hype has sky rocketed.

They took out the airplanes.

My favorite thing to do in San Andreas was to take the jumbo jet and run it into the tallest building on the map.

Obviously they took em out for that very reason, but I thought it was a hoot every single time.

I heard people have been camping two weeks outside a shop in Stockholm in advance...

Yes, I did enjoy airplanes quite a bit too. But aside from the obvious reason to not allow flyable jets's in a modern day recreation of New York, their reason was that such a vehicle wasn't necessary in a smaller city environment, whereas it fits in perfectly with SA's vast desert and countryside. Still, they have helicopters and maybe there'll be something like GTAIII's clipped dodo.

I'm most looking forward to interacting with people using the new Euphoria engine. They should respond completely realistically and differently each time, so if you nudge them with a car they'll put their hands out to keep balance, or drop their coffee and shout obscenities at you. And crashes look quite hilariously brutal:

Why? I only pre-ordered mine at Amazon on the 17th of this month and I'm getting it Tuesday morning, day of launch. I could have pre-ordered at a local game store and got it at midnight but I can't be bothered

I'm really not into games anymore, but this is a game I would definitely pay a lot of kidneys for.

hmmm, I'm not excited at all about this game. The last GTA that was fun to me was GTA2.

After all, I don't enjoy
- randomly killing people
- driving fast cars
- especially hating crashes or to hit people when driving
- open world games
- loose mission structure
- gangster culture
- flying planes into buildings ()
- decision making in the ingame story

So, seems that this is just not a game for me

I just brought RockBand home this morning as an impulse buy and I haven't been able to put down the sticks...feels so good when you get into that groove and you're not even looking at the screen.

You can be the final member of our band with Maou and golem!
