I didn't know this but Ultra C, DVD and Bluray both debuted number 1 on Oricon and 3min was a number 1 single debut as well, they wrote an entire thing about it on the website. it seems like Tokyo Jihen is as popular as ever. it amazes me how release after release I can feel jihen's music getting stale, but I still get in a panic every time I hear of new music. I'm like Hachiko, waiting for Ringo to come pick me up for good times again. Last edited by kuro_neko : 2010.12.09 at 07:06 PM. |

I don't think she'll ever get to the point (with/without Jihen) where she's rehashing the same kind of album every time. It's not her style. Rehashing Killer Tune though, haha
It'd be cool if it were a Western-related tie-up that will bring them here. Up up and away. Not happening. Kiss Mint Phase 3. |

Haha, I just noticed that the new single is going to be released exactly 8 years after KZK...

I'm almost certain about that.
They might as well be releasing these 2-track singles as 8cm CDs, but I suspect those have fallen out of fashion after the turn of the century and the more recent boom of caddy-loader disc drives. *edit* CD Japan has it listed already. They don't seem to think (yet) that there's a first-pressing on this, and they're probably (though not always) right - but I'm pre-ordering it anyway.

Being a new fan of TJ/Shiina within the past 6 months or so I was JUST starting to wonder when we would get something new. This news just made my week.
