It's not better than the first Naruto movie.
(Sorry, I just wanted to see how it felt to type that) |

I've just seen The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and I have to say it's nothing like Forrest Gump. But I still liked it

Went to see Ingourious Basterds tonight and I adored it. The most fun I've had watching a movie all summer. I think it's his best since Pulp Fiction. Hans Landa is absolutely fantastic, as is the acting from Christoph Waltz (and most of the rest of the cast). Very funny, brilliant opening and a totally satisfying finale. The soundtrack was perfect too. It really made the tension erupt.

I watched IB too, and I LOVED it. I was just constantly asking myself how the english version turned out to be, since about 60% of the movie is spoken in german. Did you guys have subtitles all the way through, or just subtitles for the french and dubbed the german parts, or was everything dubbed in english?
Because I saw a clip from the first scene of the movie with Landa and the farmer and Landa had dubbed himself in english in that scene.

It was all subtitles. No dubbing, as it should be.

Yeah, I was watching the scene on youtube again, and that made sense. I was a bit confused though, because in the german version, the english parts were indeed dubbed in german. So in most parts I could tell if the were dubbed (most actors by themselves), but in this scene I never even thought about it, because for a german and a frenchman to change the conversation from french to german was just too natural to even doubt it. And of course in the german version they said that the jews couldn't understand german. My fav scene: The punchline of the "Who Am I" bar game.

I just watched Drag Me To Hell. I would never have expected that Raimi is capable of making something so reminiscent of Evil Dead in the year 2009.
I loved everything about it, although you could smell the end from miles away. Two bad the two never made it to the shack together, that could have been a great sequel
