I found it really easy on Demonoid, so I'm downloading now!

Good good. The first disc I burned didn't work, but the second did. I don't think I did anything different so I don't know how finicky it is.

Edit: I realised I named the first disc "Resident Evil 5 demo". Don't name it. Just create a data disc, drop the 'content' folder on and burn.

Oh yeah, and not being able to move and shoot feels really dated now. It offers literally no advantage; it isn't more tense or realistic, it's just frustrating.

That game is solid as hell! the ammo seems in limited supply and that big guy with the axe keeps tearing me to shreds, and not being able to shoot/run really is dated as you said Whispa, that said however it's still brilliant and I'm gonna go at it later in Co-Op with my brother!

Yeah, it's dated since they invented the second analog stick
But I still liked the system in RE4, didn't try 5 yet.

By implementing a run while shooting system could really ramp up the tension because they could have chase sequences and such, but having the strange run then stop to shoot gameplay is a little silly.

EDIT: We finally got through the first scenario! it was more about surviving long enough rather than getting stuck into the zombies.
The second scenario though is a nightmare as the chainsaw guy is an utter monster, and he keeps tearing us apart.
I'm annoyed at the seemingly lack of reload button ? having to open the inventory and combine ammo with the gun (all in real time) as you get attacked is really brutal.

Resident Evil 5, after figuring out that there is a reload button and got fully accustomed to the whole team concept (trading weapons/ammo) me and my brother got pretty sharp at operating as the one unit and were able to destroy the Chainsaw-Man! that's both scenarios fully beat up now, I can't wait to finally play the full game when it comes out! I'm really looking forward to it.

Yeah, I also had trouble finding the reload button. It's because the majority of actions require multiple button presses. It's more annoying at first because things don't come naturally, but once I got used to them it was fine.

Anybody else as excited for Heavy Rain as I am?

the newest stuff doesn't sound bad

The script

* 2,000 pages long
* 60 scenes, each about 15-20 minutes long, most, but not all of which you see on any play-through
* 40,000 words of non-linear dialogue
* Based on 6,000 pages of notes and references
* 15 months in development

The art design

* Two weeks scouting for locations on the East Coast of the USA
* 15 months of design by ten people
* Photos, topographical gameplay maps, sketches of every item, paintings of every scene

The outsourcing to Asia

* Over 100 people involved outside Quantic Dream
* 480 man-months of work
* Based on an "outsourcing bible" and "level architect blueprints"

The motion capture

* All done on-site at Quantic Dream in Paris
* 170 days of shooting across nine months
* Over 70 actors and stuntmen involved
* Casting sessions in Paris and London
* 30,000 unique animations recorded

Hey, this is the videogames thread, not movies =P
Anyway, I am hyped for Heavy Rain, oh yeah. But if it continue to be PS3 exclusive, my hype will wear down.
