I'm curious about the guitars because the Beatles don't use Fender equipment. Are the licensing Epiphone/Gibson and Rickenbacker for this game? I hope the guitar feels more like the Les Paul than the Stratocaster. I hate the strum on the Strat.

I hope they add a click to the strum, but it's probably not going to happen.

I haven't used the Rock Band 2 guitar, is it not an improvement? I've heard good things about it. But yeah, I'd like something different for the Beatles guitars. They have said that they're releasing replicas of all 4 musicians instruments but I don't think they've mentioned any specific company licensing.

it is better, it feels more solid and the Xbox ones are finally wireless. It doesn't click though.
The problem is the click would help me keep tempo better, especially with songs like creep with the quick up and down strum sections.

Psh, I played RE5 for 8 hours yesterday. I love the game. There's no way people can love RE4, but not not love RE5. I'm playing co-op though so I don't know about Sheva's AI. However, I know some people are bullshitting about it. I've seen people posting "Sheva keeps shooting me!" which just tells me they haven't played the game or even watched a video. There is no friendly fire at all.

Just taking a break and as for Resi 5 ? it's surprisingly good fun! the split screen is odd though as you don't get a full half screen as it's kinda bordered off to the left/right? besides that it feels pretty good so yeah! no complaints for the moment, also no idea about Sheva's AI as I'm playing co-op with my brother.
EDIT: Since when did Wesker become Neo from the Matrix? Merged I rescind my previous Resident Evil 5 bashing! been playing it for a long time now with my brother and it's awesomely immense, dated control mechanics aside it's actually good fun playing with another person at your side (as in a human and not AI) like I only use the Sniper Rifle (in all situations, I'm a bit of a specialist) and he wields the short range Magnum & Submachine guns! it's really good fun and well worth the price of admission. Those reviews should be ignored because it's a solid nice looking game, though I'm disappointed that they wasted the Africa settings by not having zombie Rhino and Giraffe etc, I really wanted to see that but no matter the game still delivers. |

I used the sniper rifle, handgun, and grenade launcher during my first playthrough. I replaced the launcher with a magnum now. It's fun destroying the once powerful enemies with maxed out weapons. =)
It's sooo much better with system link.
