EMI ROCKS live CD
since this thread is about EMI ROCKS live I'll post it here..
EMI ROCKS Release date: 2010/11/06 (only at the avenue, limited amount) Price: 3000 yen Contents: 11 songs (one per artist). Artists: ACIDMAN, 9mm Parabellum Bullet, Kiyoshi Ryujin, Straightener, Tokyo Jihen, HIFANA, Fire Ball with Home Grown, Base Ball Bear, MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS, MIYAVI and Yoshii Kazuya. It was decided that the performance that will be held on 11/6 at Saitama Super Arena to comemorate the 50th anniversary of EMI Music Japan, EMI ROCKS, will become a live CD. This CD, will compile one song per artist, excluding the live acts, this is 11 songs from 11 artists, and Tokyo Jihen is one of them. It's going to be recorded through the "Abbey Road Live Here Now" system, that means the CD mastering and all will be done instantly, at the avenue and it will be sold in the end of the concert only at Saitama Arena. This kind of stuff has happened before to some bands, like Blur, but in Japan it's its first time. It'll be Phase 2's fifth anniversary, won't it? And it's around SR's birthday. Wonder if there'll be an announcement -- maybe the announcement of a hiatus.
