It was a joke. Nonetheless Texans at power DO have a lot to prove.

I understand people's argument about not using Japanese characters, but it's not really a big deal here. If you're curious about the meaning of the thread, you click on it and see the song titles in English or Romaji or whatever. If you know Shiina Ringo's music, you'll know what album it is. If not, you may recognize some of the songs. If not, well, that's irrelevant because you don't have a reason to vote anyway.

I do appreciate you speaking for everyone, TJ. I don't understand any Japanese. But I also don't really have a problem with it in this case, and I doubt most other people do (now I'm speaking for everyone too). If there were no context clues within the thread, I'd be a little upset. But it's not that big of a deal. I think Jonny knows not to use Japanese characters in titles anymore.

Um... yes I can? I'm fluent-ish in Japanese, can read, understand, converse, whatever. I'm not really sure what you're going for here. This isn't our "Japanese insecurities" talking. We're not angry because we can't understand. I can, and Tokyo Jihad has had 2 semesters of Japanese, so he can too. This is purely a matter of principles.

And, uh... I don't really consider myself a Texan, so whooooo, who really cares here? Am I supposed to start talking smack about Swedish people? Lame, lame, lame.

Yes, most oft the people can not speak japanese. That's the reason why even you speak english here.

And to live one year in any other country than your birthcountry would change you (Maybe with a few exceptions)
I don't get your point

That was my point! I just said that there would be no difference for me if I lived in Japan or China for a year, both experiences would change me.

Your point was more like "Japan FTW u can't speak it haha, come here and you will feel better than in your weird country"

Althought I don't believe that you said that with an evil undertone.
