why, cuz its a piece of shit?
hahahah I guess maybe she thinks its relevant because from her perspective she is the one on stage, the one in front of the cameras, the ones with the lights shining on her so brightly she can't see, its relevant I suppose, but not very interesting to look at. the large shots of the inside box shows different angle on the stickers and and the stickers and art cards are very nice, the actual cd cases are kind of crap. The book looks like a small square hardcover really thick nice book. |

I see fingerprints all over the bottom half of the main MoRA sticker.

MoRA the same old songs you've been listening to everyday for years on your mp3 player.

I love the image of the refracted sunlight, or whatever the hell it is. I like that kind of minimalism, so I am predisposed.
Thanks for the defense of film, KN. I am pretty contenedly digital these days, I am perfectly happy with my digital camera. But I am not trying to make art. I really don't think it is time to start declaring the death of film. It is one medium among others now, as far as photography goes, but the tradition is so rich and deep, and it still holds completely unique organic qualities, an aura to it, that digital cannot capture. There was an interesting discussion/digression on another forum I frequent recently between two photographers, one amateur and one pro, who still like to work with poloroids, and it seemed like they were doing some pretty extreme things to the film itself in their work, claiming that the medium was the only way to get the effects they are after. They were bemoaning the fact that it is becoming almost impossible to get the film for the cameras these days. (The pro had a stockpile in his possession.) Anyway, the thread got loopy silly for a minute there. What next, we don't need paint anymore, because we have photoshop? |

I'm buying the DVD set for the better sound quality. I don't care if I own all the albums already.
On a side note, Tsutaya is getting rid of their SR/TJ stock possibly because of these sets. Muzai, Shouso, Utaite, Adult, Variety, Ringohan, and Senkou Shoujo are all 20% off.

I would have liked a hologram that changes through all her various solo-career styles!!
or better still.. the first 200 boxes should have a real Polaroid pic of Shiina!! something that's really limited like that would be great. Last edited by Ringo~Bingo : 2008.10.02 at 01:26 AM. |
