What genres has Shiina Ringo covered throughout her career?
OK, I know someone's going to come in here with their technical breakdown of what exactly constitutes x genre. Feel free to do that, but this is mostly a 'for fun' thing.
i.e. Rap: Sigma/Osca Rare Groove (RnB, perhaps): Karada J-Pop Ballad: Gips Drum n Bass: Kabuki |

I liked it when I read somebody describing KSK Yattsuke Shigoto as Shibuya-kei, it gave me a new way of listening to the song.

.
OSCA's not even close, and the weird spoken parts of Sigma are as much rap as William Shatner's renditions of Rocket Man, except somewhat better. Himitsu (Adult Video) is probably the closest you'll ever get to the rap genre. R&B: Karada technorchestra: Oiran lounge music: Rinne Highlight unsalvageable refrain: Boutomin |

Not just R&B, "Karada" is that rare kind of neo-soul that your only hear on things like weekday morning BETJ.
How about styles crossed when she self-covers? At least to my ears, she seems to push the boundaries much further in terms of genre limitation when she does this- -Yokushitsu vs La Salle De Bain -Tsumi To Batsu vs Saito Neko's Tsumi To Batsu - that live version of "Killer Tune" with Hirai Ken... |
