Default Sid to Hakuchuumu

So, what is your favorite version of this one?

It was a hard decision, this being one of my favourite Ringo songs, but ultimately gonna go with the Mayonaka ver. Just sounds good man.

Mayonaka wa Junketsu, mainly because of the indefensible last 30 seconds of the MM version.

You don't like Ringo's scat singing?

MM version wins easily for me. Mayonaka Sid's possibly the only old solo Ringo track I don't like - the orchestra's too much.

I just remembered this was on the Mayonaka single.
And of course the MM ver.

Mayonaka.
If it was modern Ringo's voice singing MM arrangement, then MM, but her MM voice is too rough for me.

Not the upper octave of her scat singing. Her MM-era voice can be tough to palette at times.

Her abrasive singing is what gave old Shiina recordings character, and why nu-Shiina recordings so bland
