Some youtube fueled nostalgia. These were my two favorite Philadelphia bands back in the 80s. Scram songs here are reggae, RUIN is hardcore, sort of. "Here Tonite" has an unstoppable bassline.

Scram - Here Tonite

Scram - Stand Up

RUIN - Great Divide

RUIN - Baby Doll

toe - グッドバイ (CUT_DVD with Toki Asako)

The dialog between the musicians reaching this state of total wisdom near the end, when each of them is so subjective but are still pointing in the same direction, different arguments yet agreeing. And I'm actively part of it, I share the ephemeral secret and I got this feeling of completion for a while, every single time.

Music, I hear you say.

月に負け犬 tuki ni make inu....... I don't know about you guys but I totally forgot I ever saw that pv before. Not sure still I did. It's just weird after all these years not to have a memory of it. I guess it was never released on DVD....... Oh I went to a local live house near my place yesterday. The cool ppl there brought me to another peculiar bar nearby, which was like the room of a 9 year old boy full of toys , manga and stuff. The had the millennium falcon.... Aaahhh.... And they projected Sr videos on the wall for me. And paid my beer bill. Being gaijin is sometimes a good thing.

This morning at a press conference in London, Noel announced his own plans: two new solo albums, the first of which is called Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and will see release October 17 in the UK via Noel's own Sour Mash imprint, with a U.S. release coming November 8 on Sour Mash/Mercury. (As NME points out, Liam had a predictably assholish response to his brother's announcement.)
We've got the tracklist below, as well as the video for the Noel-sung Oasis classic "Don't Look Back in Anger".

This year, Noel also finished recording an as-yet-untitled companion album, a collaboration with the Amorphous Androgynous, a spaced-out electro-psych side project of the Future Sound of London. That album is due next year, and Noel will tour with his High Flying Birds in Autumn. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds:
01 Everybody's on the Run
02 Dream On
03 If I Had a Gun...
04 The Death of You and Me
05 (I Wanna Live in a Dream in My) Record Machine
06 AKA... What a Life!
07 Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks
08 AKA... Broken Arrow
09 (Stranded On) The Wrong Beach
10 Stop the Clocks
I'm not surprised Noel spent more time on his album than Beady Eye/Liam. I have been waiting on bated breath for this announcement since the day Oasis split. Finally!

I loled pretty good at "Stop the Clocks" being on the record, as well as "Record Machine." They were the best songs on the DBTT demos. I avoided Beady Eye's record after that "Baby C'mon" single (whatever it was), but they played Letterman a few weeks ago and played "The Roller" which I recognized as a song Gem Archer had been kicking around since the Heathen Chemistry days. So maybe I'll double back and give Beady Eye a fairer chance. Even if only for Gem and Andy Bell songs.

DID SOMEONE SAY PITCHFOIRK?
Deerhunter - Desire Lines

and
Thao and Mirah - How Dare You

what I'm clt. The latter, one of the best '11 songs so far!

Hey justriiingo, (if you ever see this) this might interest you. I know it's kind of late for a follow-up release to Red Hot + Rio, but this sounds pretty good from the samples:

Edit: whole album streamable here: http://3voor12.vpro.nl/luisterpaal/
