I'm looking forward to Bayonetta. The demo has gotten me really excited about the game. As soon as I have some extra money I'll definitely pick it up.

For what it's worth, I do like Bayonetta better than God of War, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Devil May Cry. Ninja Gaiden Black is my favorite in the action genre.

Dragon Age Awakening (Expansion) Trailer:
YES!!!!!!!!!! The best thing that could ever happen this year. And it's just the first days of January! Officially 15 hours of gameplay, I hope that's the time for the console version, because that would mean 30 hours for the PC Version.

Finished Bayonetta yesterday. What an awesome game. Perfect combat system, hilarious story and cut scenes, best boss battles in years, and just much awesomeness everywhere.
The only criticism is that it ends, but even the credits are more awesome that you would think, and then the game still doesn't end, just to give you some fanservice. I get why it got perfect ratings.

Been playing Bayonetta recently. Almost done with it and it is as good as everyone is saying. The combat system is almost flawless. By far the best I've used and the most fun. Giant Bomb said it perfectly in saying that it is revels in the fact that it's a game. Most games nowadays go with purely cinematic presentation, trying to imitate a movie... Bayonetta looks just like an old school Japanese game (not graphically, of course) with a crazy story, cheesy dialogue and voice acting, a lack of respect for the laws of physics and the humour to pull it all off well, almost to the point of self mockery. But presentation aside, it just plays fantastically and once I'm finished I'm going to start again straight away which is something I haven't done with a game in a long while.

Then I think you will like the end of that game, and... everything that comes after that

The first two reivews of Bioshock 2 are out. Both praising the storytelling and writing as "even better than in the first game".
Now that's all that I wanted. Rapture alone is enough for atmosphere, and if the writing is good, too, then I will very much love that game. In addition to that: I ordered a Zalman 22" 3D monitor, should be here in the next days. Perfect to play Bioshock 1 in 3D again, as a preparation for the 2nd game. 3D rocks

I, um, kind of lend my 360 to someone every so often so I haven't gotten to play Bayonetta as often, and it's pretty much the reason I haven't completed either Bioshock or Mass Effect.
Only the Wii is here permanently, and on that I've been playing Bully: Scholarship Edition, which I prefer to any GTA. |
