If for some reason you were on pluto and did not hear this, check it out:
Yes, the blue Hedgehog finally gets his chance to take down Mario!! I was so surprised that they added him in Brawl, I figured after the Olympic game was announced, that was it for any chance of having him in. I knew they would have had to have a press conference to introduce any big characters like Sonic, Sora, etc., but It's surprising that nothing about this conference showed up before Nintendo put it on the dojo. Anyone have any details about this? I feel like a little kid again |

Halo 3's split-screen co-op mode sucks so hard. 4:3 480p only? I am so system linking that shit.

We have a brilliant two HDTV, two 360 setup in my student house. Still, we play 4-8 player system link games sometimes, meaning split-screen and I know what you mean about the annoying 4:3. I think it's to keep each persons view 16:9, rather than having a really long view but I'd like the option to stretch it at least.

I LOVE this guy
Halo 3 Review His Reviews are better than anything out there and they are all so entertaining that I can even watch the ones of games I never intend to play. This one is just hilarious: Heavenly Sword Demo

I love his reviews. His Bioshock one is my favourite. But I hate that fanboys use his videos as proof that a game is crap "Because he soundz like really intelligeents!!". I adore loads of games he 'reviews' but still find them hilarious.

Anyone with a 360, you can download the Guitar Hero 3 demo from here. You do NOT need a modded console. Just burn it to a CD or DVD and the 360 will automatically install it onto the 'Demo' blade.

OMFG!
I played the Crysis demo today and WHAT THE HELL IT'S JUST AWESOME! graphics are TOO good, sound is really nice, gameplay is exactly what I like and the design is wonderful. Too bad that it runs in less than 30fps on my machine, if I set the options on High. And I won't play it in less than high, this game deserves to be played in at least high. Well I won't play it until I'll be able to play it in "Extreme" which is not even possible today, so yes, I will wait (probably a very long time) to play Crysis. See you in 2-3 Years, Crysis.

I still have to play Far Cry and Doom 3, and Quake 4, I just played Half Life 2 (this time the whole game), Heroes of Might and Magic 5, The Guild 2, Fear(but I didn't like it, so I stopped very fast).
And from this year it was The Lord of The Rings Online and Bioshock.

Anybody tried Quake Wars yet? I'm deciding whether to shell out some good money for the edition with the bonus dvd.
I've still got good ol' Quake 2 and Quake 3 Arena in my computer for some quick fragging sessions. Recently though, I've been exploring the emulation scene. Just stumbled upon x68000 games...I tried Thunderforce II and MAN is it hard.. I don't know how I managed to play these fast scrolling games when I was younger. My eyes and brain just aren't what they used to be.. The Sega MD's Thunderforce IV gave me enough of a headache with the attention grabbing backgrounds distracting me from the real action going on in the foreground. |
