Live versions are nice, but the album versions of these songs, at least for me, will always be the best. Loved Rumours when it came out when I was a young teen. It was huge. A couple of years later I discovered alienated weirdo music, and concentrated on that for quite a while, but never lost my fondness for Rumours. Anyway...
Multiply editing this... That Fleetwood Mac song reminds me of a few other songs that as a New Wave dude in college I was supposed to hate (corporate rock detritus) but still love to this day. All time favorite reluctant love...

Rumors is fantastic. The Chain is pretty much the best song ever recorded, and the bass solo interlude thing is to die forrrr.
I probably posted this sometime last summer when I was all obsessed with it. But I think it's worth any kind of reposting because it's suchhhh a good song. Last edited by mizer_unmei : 2010.03.11 at 05:39 AM. |

Rhiannon and Landslide for me. I saw Fleetwood Mac last year with my mom. I'm sure it wasn't as good as when they were in their prime, but I loved it. Stevie was my first love. <3

The Telephone video was disappointing considering the hype. I kind of liked the song too.
