Zazen Extasy or Ringo Expo 08
I have enough to get one. Overall which do members of this forum feel is the better performance?

Zazen, for purely biased reasons.

why do we have to compare? I mean, for starters, the shows were like, years and years apart. and then conceptually and sonically they are as different as it gets. I think a fairer comparison would be Zazen vs. GX Ecstacy or versus Electric Mole.
but I'd go with Zazen. |

it's less for comparison and more for helping me decide which to get. those have been the 2 most recently released, so that's why it's between them.

I'd opt for Zazen.

I think you had better start from the past.

If this will be the only Ringo disc you'll currently have then get neither! buy Dynamite Out or Electric Mole.
Recent don't necessarily mean decent as Paris says, start with the past/legendary shows. |

when I get into an artist I focus on buying the most recent release, and then starting from the source and working my way up to the current release. I'd buy Ringo Expo because its pretty much a mixture of her entire career. Zazen was mostly b-sides and kind of obscure music, so for the fan just getting into the music a lot of it might be stuff you aren't really into yet.
