Rox - My Baby Left Me
This is pretty old school, which I guess is partly why I like it:
This seems to be my year for checking out BBC "hotly tipped"* artists. Just heard some Laura Marling tonight for the first time and folk (European or American anyway) is rarely my thing, but I'm curious to hear more:
*I love that term, it sounds so lewd. |

I love this woman so much it isn't even funny. Out of the two times she performs in London, one is a private show and the other is an overpriced charity event. Bah! She just reminds me of how I react to the music I enjoy.

Loved that vid Scribble. Someone on this forum (possibly you) introduced me to her and I think she's just so cool.

justriiingo, have you seen this yet:
http://www.wearsthetrousers.com/2010...riday-cibelle/ Unfortunately, sounds very much in the vein of Shine. The instrumental outro is pretty good. That wearsthetrousers magazine looks promising in general. I only just ran across that recently. |
