Default Laser Discs

I picked up a pile of laser discs today that were going to be thrown away. I am going to sell them as one lot on Craigslist, but have no idea of their potential value. Does anyone here have a clue? All are unscratched.

Pulp Fiction
A Clockwork Orange
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Green Legend Ran box with booklet and postcards
The Golden Age of Looney Tunes Volume 2
Schindler's List
Blade Runner
Kalifornia
The Mask
Reservoir Dogs
The Magnificent Seven/Return Of The Seven double feature
Natural Born Killers
The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover
The Road Warrior
Braveheart
Like Water For Chocolate
Akira
Apocolypse Now
The Last Of The Mohicans
Tetsuo: The Iron Man

Thanks in advance!

As someone raised on Laserdiscs, I have to say there are some things I like about them more than DVDs. I love the absence of pixel blocking/fluctuations, and the sound was better on a lot of the Laserdiscs too. Up until very recently, Laserdisc was the only consumer video format superior to VHS, available with the theatrical cuts of the old Star Wars trilogy - and thus those discs were huge collector items among some circles of people.

But now that the high definition war has started and finished, it's probably too late to be selling Laserdiscs for a hefty sum. You'll be lucky if you can get more than $200 for the batch, even if that's a fraction of what the discs originally retailed for.

I would at least hang onto those Laserdiscs for 5 more years, then see which ones still aren't available on Blu-Ray by that time. Some of your collection's value could rebound.

You probably already tried this already, but Ebay is always a good barometer for value.

Thanks, guys. I will take Glath's sage advice and wait a while on these. I also got a free Libec LS85(2C) tripod system in mint condition. I am going to offer it at half the $3,849.95 list price on craigslist, but if any of my buds here really want it, I'll sell it for $1000. Act fast!
