Oh my god. This is totally brilliant! I love how the music gets more and more complicated as it goes along. And so it should with the musicians working on this thing: vo,key 沙知 gt Ryo Hamamoto b ケイタイモ(WUJA BIN BIN) syn 蓮尾理之(385,THE JETZEJOHNSON) ds とがしひろき(サンガツ,ロア) b InteriorM cello 佐藤研二(マルコシアス・バンプ) Ordered album.

^ After listening to the first EP, I realise we were looking in the totally wrong direction when hyping over Wakusei Abnormal. While similar (but far less poppy for the most part), I feel Hari Neko is the way to go! There are bits in here that are totally terrifying... the first track took me totally off guard and blew my mortal mind apart.
Awesome! Cannot wait to hear the first full length!

GLIM SPANKY's mini album "Shousou" (as well as their debut EP "Music Freak")
It's near perfect dirrrrrrrrty rock. And that voice! Check it out!
Unfortunately, there's only this preview of the PV on youtube for Shousou... There's also this, from the first EP though:

Spinning KPP's Pika Pika Fantajin for the first time, and mostly it's exactly what you'd expect from KPP. Whether that floats your boat or not will ultimately determine whether you like this release or not.
However, there is one track I really want to point out because it is truly, undeniably brilliant. That is the song Serious Hitomi and it really breaks new ground for KPP - it's very punky yet still bubblegum at the same time- and it works wonderfully. I was surprised by it. Pity the rest of the album doesn't really do much for me. But still, definitely check out that track.

Quite the impressive and convincing "Rajah Maharajah" (Originally by Jun Togawa version) cover I must say... The band calls themselves "Setacho" as far as I can tell, from the Kanto region. Dunno if they're still around, but damn, pretty good Togawa impersonators for sure. The original version is still one of my favourite Togawa songs, I can't believe it didn't make it onto Suki Suki Daisuki and ended up as a kids TV theme for NHK... the fuck were they thinking.

I fucking love the "War" side of this album. The only thing better is listening straight from the LP really fucking loud. Such intensity captured perfectly, the production still astounds me. Pity barely anyone knows about this group.
