This is one of my favorite songs of Shiina Ringo, in the case of Meisai (or Camouflage) a comparison of two completely different lifestyles, the first one exists it is that of a girl that can have money but that this tired of the life, the second is that of a simpler woman but that it is satisfied with that even when it misses some aspects of its last life.

It is this type of messages and the small details that all have mentioned that SR make fans around to the of the world.

So yes you are right. Maybe double eye-guy is trying to erase fake Ringo, cause (s)he is haunting him and whipping him. And the maid is the fairy godmother who helps him.
It would make sense (with the white-out pen) he would be erasing the fake ringo. The whole song is about two people trying to get away from something, those two people being the boy and the maid. Also, in the song, they talk about erasing something with a white-out pen.

I know this sounds stupid, but suddenly, thinking about two very close people trying to escape from someone evil sounds like 'A Tale of Two Sisters; to me.

修 正 [しゅうせい] - (n, vs) amendment, correction, revision, modification, alteration, retouching, update, fix

The first set of kanji is really simmilar to the kanji for shi.If you were to translate the hiragana to any romaji, it'd be shirosa. And, if you recall, in the song she says shirosa in the second chorus.

Really? That's so Ringo.
And I like your theory! They murder the people who are in their way...

According to my friend Saeko, she is entertaining an army, and that "meisai" means army. But I think shes wrong, doesnt it mean camoflauge? or disguise? Something along those lines, I'm not sure anymore. She hasnt been to japan for a while so she could be mixing it up. I dont think the people there are an army, either

The guy with double eyes who was whipped by fake Ringo
was likely acted by Yamaguchi Kazuki(?), a director from Toshiba EMI.

He also appeared as extra clip of both Seiteki Healing 2 and 3.
In SH2, he was the man who repeatedly looked back at last part.
In SH3, he was the man with pink shirt who was talking with doll.
(also appeared as tour guide Pop Jam's Tokyo Trip program of TJ Phase 1)

The fake Ringo was likely acted by Yokomachi Keiko, an actress.

The Q&A thread in 2ch lists Inazawa Ahito and Watanabe Hitoshi as a other cameos.
They credited drums and bass in Meisai recording, respectably.

The word 'meisai' can only, usually, mean camoflauge. I don't know if it translats to anything else.
