Default That kayoukyoku sound

Hello, trying to tap on all you good knowledgeable people here. Anybody here with good recommendations of artists (and albums) that are highly reminiscent of the kayoukyoku sound? This could be both something recent or something that was actually from that era (thinking mid 60s to 80s).

To be a bit more specific, I am looking for a sound reminiscent of early Matsutouya Yumi, Oda Kazumasa, Mori Shinichi, with a folk sensibility to the writing (i.e. maybe not Pink Lady, which is a little too disco -- which is fine, but not what I'm in the mood for these days). The Japanese equivalent of Francoise Hardy, that kind of thing.

I might not be very spot on with my use of music terminology so please be patient! Hopefully this is enough to give you a sense of the sound I'm looking for.

I think that I should pick up someone like Sadama Masashi or Nakajima Miyuki.

Sada Masashi - Amayadori

Nakajima Miyuki - Jidai

Thumbs up

I can't listen to this now because I'm at work, but I'll take a listen when I get home. Thanks EmilScherbe for your recs, and to gekokujyo for starting this topic. This is a style of music I'm interested in exploring further, myself.
