Yep, that's legitimate within the rules. I just try to impose the extra unofficial rule on myself of making all six of my own targets different each time until it becomes painful. But yes, you can keep weakening Amagasa during each of your turns until it's dead, as long as at least three of the other tracks you choose are different than your most recent choices.

I didn't want the least popular of the tracks to all die so quickly and easily, otherwise one of their rare advocates might, you know, complain about it. This game is deliberately crafted to delay the death of the least popular tracks while the more popular tracks get weakened sooner than otherwise. There is a method to my madness here.
