thanks, papilionidae!
that's one of the songs Ringo wrote, right? EMI is really making the most out of this friendship. Rie Tomosaka is a very lucky lady to have Shiina Ringo as a friend.

According to Japanese Wikipedia, Tokai no Manaa was arranged by Tokyo Jihen, and Kodomo no Joukei was arranged by Ringo.

Ugh, "arranged by Tokyo Jihen" also means "performed by Tokyo Jihen" lately. Poor girl.

poor girl? she's lucky to have Tokyo Jihen. This is still Rie Tomosaka we're talking about.

congrats on your 1999th post, Maou.

I'd rather take my chances on my own or just with Ringo than to add the rest of Jihen into the mix. I mean, Tokyo Jihen did produce the worst album of 2007 after all.

Thanks.

Sorry, Shinji. I didn't see the first post talking about specific songs.

according to tower records little write up on tomosaka rie's new album, this is a memorial work to celebrate her 30 years of age as of 2009. a lot of us thought it came out of left field, but I suppose it makes sense presented like that. if this does well enough I'm sure she will do more music but if it flops they can say well that was just a 30th memorial album.
