SR's a very posh English girl, much posher than a prole like me. The Queen might say something like "I'm not your position"...

(international note: "posh" means "upper class")

I was raised in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (go Commonwealths! can you name all 4 in the US? Okay, so I gave you one...) so I spell color as colour and humor as humour and use other alternate spellings. I mean, does it matter? I live in hawai'i now and everyone is using pidgin and writing "lik dis man, wat u up tu?" Ringo has pretty eloquent english by modern standards, and nowadays all of her english lyrics come from japanese translations as credited to one man, I forget his name, who has been doing her translations for quite some time (pretty much all of Jihen's catalogue and from before then as well).

Robbie Clark - I don't know anything about him, but I think the translations often work for the song. The way that "If I were dying, they’d be personal effects" lyric drops so suddenly makes me T_T and I don't even know what it means.

And I love the "
pro-stitute"...
