Not at all

I just recalled hearing people talk about how they didn't like it much. After listening to everyone talk more about it though, I realized that my memory is pretty awful, and it was just a couple songs here and there that they didn't like.

In that last post, I was just responding to what you said to Hedo because it sounded strange. But if you don't like the album much, that really is fine. I don't respect you or your opinion any less for it, and I'm sure nobody else does either.

But I do apologize if it seemed like I was trying to gang people up on you for your tastes.

I have awful memory as well and I know I've asked this before but why is Sounan compared to blackout? They sound nothing alike.

^ That's just the contrast between the two bands. If the new lineup wasn't so wusscore it would sound even more like Sounan.

I would love Adult if it had been recorded in one take in a garage without any of her usual attention to detail... these are mature, strong songs. From a melodic standpoint and from a song-form standpoint. Shiina-hime is just dripping with songwriting mastery. Think that's sweat you see in the DVDs? Wrong. It's liquid Songwriting Mastery.

I love Adult. It's one of my favorite albums Shiina has done and it really is responsible for making me a fan.

I was introduced to Tokyo Jihen, and consequently Shiina Ringo, through the song Himitsu. I loved it from the very first time I heard it. It's still one of the best songs Shiina has done in my opinion.

I listen to a really wide variety of music, especially rock and jazz. The blending of genres and the range of different sounds on Adult was really satisfying for me.
