Ok, so what do we know that we can expect from Sony and Nintendo, at least that interests me :x
Sony: PSP Go, (maybe) PS3 slim, Kojima games, FF13, Trico, Heavy Rain... Nintendo: I don't have a clue! Zelda DS? lol? |

I think Sony will have a pretty strong first party line-up, but they can't possibly show things to the scale of Microsoft. The 3 biggest PS franchises, Gran Turismo aside, were MGS, Final Fantasy and GTA and now one year after another Microsoft has taken them all. Not only that but they have this year shown 2 entirely new titles for their biggest franchise in Halo 3: ODST and Halo Reach, some fantastic looking exclusives with Crackdown 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Alan Wake and Left 4 Dead 2 and ended it with a motion camera which was admittedly 10x more impressive than I was expecting. Literally more impressive than everything I've seen on the Wii put together.
Can you honestly take any Wii demos seriously at their conference having seen what that camera is capable of? They'll show a new Zelda or Mario but the rest will be mostly junk.

Yeah, Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 only two really worth it. APB has promise too. Let's hope for more from Ubisoft.

Wondering what Whisper's comment about a new Zelda game meant, I checked on the Wikipedia page, and omgoooooodness.
Not being much of a gamer aside from party games and nostalia games from SNES and Genesis, Zelda is the one game I await with bated breath and such high expectations. (which are never really uncalled for) So the knowledge that they're making a new one for release in the near future pretty much makes my day. |

I feel bad for Kojima. I think there was one guy in the audience who was excited about Metal Gear Rising and clapped. That sucks.

It's not that I'm craving for this game, but at least it looks better than Portable Ops lol. Kojima supposedly has a contract with Konami, for a certain number of Metal Gear games. He can't really leave the saga before he completes the contract, which is sad. If Konami actually had someone in charge of long-term-thinking, that person would discover that if they let him create more and new IPs, they would profit more. Right now, there is already a Kojima cult. People want Kojima games, not necessarily Metal Gear. I think that's what the Konami executives are missing. |

What Zelda thing are you talking about?
This my first E3 out of the loop. Heard about Mario Galaxy 2 though. The 360 Camera though, I'm skeptical about. One, I'm not sure how well it'll be for the user with no tactile response, and two, I'm skeptical whether it can compensate for a gamer with my situation.
