It probably seemed ho-hum to you since it was an instrumental but I thought it was very interesting because of the way the song seemed to shift moods and how the melody seemed to be passed along to different instruments. That's one of those songs that I really wish I had been there to experience.

Yep, Saitou Neko gets all the love for that "Shuukyou" performance
I was hoping it continued into "Doppelgänger" ahah. Maybe a KZK orchestra version wouldn't be a bad option for future releases, if re-hashing is the motto anyway.

The original has horrible sounding guitar, bad organ, and the worst instrument ever created in the harpsichord. Guitar solo 1 in the Expo destroys the studio version, but solo 2 is slightly better in the studio. This arrangement also makes it sound like less of a Sounan clone.

EM still has some of the definitive performances of songs. I like Suberidai and Tadashii Machi slightly better on EM and no version of Kuki/Stem comes close to EM. I also think that the JCHI version of Honnou is better.

I also finally have a listenable version of Gamble.

All Iwas going to say was that I prefer the guitar in EXPO version.

Yokyou is great. Shiina Ringo, please ditch the band and do a solo album like this song. We'll still prefer your old-self, but at least the frustration won't be as intense.
