Can't help but want to post in this thread out of habit.
I don't suppose suggesting youtube would be out of line for the forum vets that should know better than to be dicks to new users (even if youtube isn't quite "downloading.")

surprising that coming out of hedo though. Haven't had to do a "lay off the noob" post since the RJ days, wtf? (even tho yes I'm well aware of the request/dl rules.) I believe Frex had things under control, juyz.

I think that Frecklegirl is too aggressive in her warning posts, especially in a case like this when a newbie might be put off. I think it's much better to explain why the forum is not a place for downloads but a place for discussion, like Glath did, and thus maybe scaring less people off.

What the hell?? What did I do? All I did was post the quote from frecklegirl because that is exactly what she would have said and had already said. I just added the "noob" part because he himself said it was a "noob" question in his original post. Jeez, you act like if I said "get the hell out" or something.

thats what I think too, as an adm she should be kinder (more kind?) to the newbies, cause by the way any forum's target is getting more members isn't it? And i'm sure she will pwn me for this post too

I think that this forum's target is getting more active members discussing SR/TJ and the likes. Having a member that registers just to take advantage of a download section, like that was the case in the old incarnation of this forum (Ringo Jihen forums), is not something they are looking for, thus the interdiction of discussing downloading. But is an immediate harsh tone really necessary? It's not like we have 1000 posts/topics like these everyday anyways...

It's a copyrighted material, so you should pay in principle.
Japanese cultual product is not free from the beginning
though so many peoples forget about it.

I am also guilty like everyone but still discomfort about shameless attitude.

Yeah, I'm agree with you. Especially for Shiina which i love so much. And because my brother in law is a musician also. So we should respect copyrighted material, especially for someone you love so much like Shiina.

I download most of her stuff before i know that I actually could buy her works with fasting a couple of day which i got the info from this place.

To answer Larc question. If i'm not mistaken there is no Aozora fast beat ever recorded for her single/album.

But, I'm not sure bout that actually
