Default Recent Gigs

So, anyone been to any recent gigs?
Had a look through the forum, couldn't see any threads like it - if there is one I overlooked, sorry and please delete this one

Last gig I went to was Patrick Wolf last month, was pretty good, but was enjoying a ridiculously bad hangover at the time which kinda ruined it :/ Going to quite a few in the next couple of months though: Elliot Minor (Shut up); Soil & Pimp Sessions; Hiromi (and a few more jazz artists); múm plus a festival in a few weeks.
Being a music major also go to a ridiculous amount of Classical/Modern/Avant-Garde/Experimental gigs, but dunno if there are any other fans of that sorta stuff here?

The last show I've been to was St. Vincent in May and the next one I have to look forward to is Tori Amos at Radio City Music Hall on August 13th.

Went to see Jenny Lewis a couple weeks ago, on June 23. She was really good!! And super cute with her boyfriend on stage, too. I had a great time. GAHHH I want one of the posters they were selling sooo bad though. It's her wearing a fedora and making this face that I often make when posing in pictures. But it sold out! And they sold out of my size in the purple tee I wanted, too. Grrrrrrr.

The last show I went to was Ringo Expo. I missed some shows that I wanted to see because I was too busy to drive the necessary six or so hours to see them. In the next few months I'll be seeing Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Silversun Pickups, and B.B. King. Maybe Asobi Seksu as well just so I can try to hit on Yuki.

Was front row-center for Róisín Murphy November last year (which was unbelievable mind you), was at the Pussycat Dolls concert in Jan (hush, I went only to see GaGa as the opening act). Saw Girls Aloud a couple of months back, and they were fantastic-and I'll be front row-center for Lady GaGa in about a week.

niiice. where'd you see her? the last show i went to was hers, too. i'll be going to see JET this wednesday. i take it they'll be playing new songs and i really hated their next single so i almost regret having bought the tickets. but i'm sure they'll play some old hits too, so it should be fun.

Webster Hall in NYC. Fabulous venue. I saw Amanda Palmer there last November too.

Last concert was Sant(i)gold in June, and the next sure one is St-Vincent in August. Not counting random free outdoor concerts I might stumble upon since it's the Jazz festival here right now.
