yattsuke shigoto PV
okay so the Yattsuke Shigoto PV Ringo is playing in a Kabuki theatre and in the footage before hand there are many many reporters from all over reporting about the concert and if you look you can see that the Ukiyo-e prints in the background are the special ukiyo-e prints Ringo did during this era
so my question is did she do a special performance here that marked a landmark? I'm thinking she might have been allowed to do a rock show there and it was the first one rock show held there. If you read the Japanese captions on the last screen it talks about how an artist who represents Japan is hold a concert there that evening (Ringo). I really had no idea about any of this. So is the PV actually live? Is that where they recorded it for Zecchoushu? |

I just answered my own question O.o
according to the Ringo Japanese wiki the PV was shot at the dress rehearsal for the Zazen Ecstacy one night show, which went on all night. They choose fans from a special lottery and then they were invited to the filming. Then they took the footage of the foreign press and used it for the KZK version of the song it was held at the Kaho Gekijyo ( Kaho Theatre) in Fukuoka in 2000 Last edited by kuro_neko : 2007.12.20 at 06:55 PM. |

And wasn't the foreign press staged? I seem to recall someone saying the German woman had a terrible accent...

oh thanks for catching that. I misread the name of the theatre....I wasn't sure how to read it properly...kanji for names are so difficult O.o. I just tried again using Jim Breen and he had Yosho, Yoshiho, and Kaho listed...so your right, thanks~~~
it doesn't saying anything about whether or not the casters are real of staged, it just says that the start of the PV was used on the KZK version of the song (this PV came out before then so I guess that is important?) I mean it could be staged or it could be real, I don't really know why all this international press would be so interested in Ringo all of a sudden though, it isn't like she has a huge fan base in Germany that I know of. |

You should use Rikaichan, you can download a names dictionary and then when you highlight the name and hit shift twice, it will load all the readings for that name. Although yeah, when there's multiple readings sometimes you still don't know...
