songs that never gets old/boring
There are songs that you absolutely loved but then after while, mostly by overplaying it losses it charm. Lists songs here that sill sounded awesome after millions of plays, in contrast also list those that used to be awesome and now kinda boring.

KSK in general is the most difficult to overplay, though I realize you weren't asking about albums.

I agree. KSK is by far the most difficult to overplay, in that it never gets old and it's something I'll listen to a lot, then I'll take a break for a bit rather than constantly playing it til I'm fed up. Shouso Strip is the album I've probably got most bored of, but there are still songs on it I adore. Gibs is probably a good choice for me for an overplayed song. But there are still times it comes on and I think "Epic!".

Hatsukoi Shoujo is one that I've been currently playing over and over again and it just doesn't get old
aisaka no chosouku, toki ga bousou suru are other honourable mentions and the ever omnipresent Marunouchi sadistic....there's gotta be a reason why Shiina sings it at nearly every live she's ever given....and it's not because its overly complex...it's the simplicty of a feel good song that doesn't let it grow old (not to mention the jazzy revamping it got at BnO made it that much more awesome) Shiina overall as an artist is very playable, most other artists get old fast for me (damned repeat button). |

These aren't necessarily my favorite songs, but I never seem to skip them when the iPod shuffles to them:
Sakuran (Onkyo Version) Hatsukoi Shoujo Marunouchi Sadistic Keikoku Morphine Aozora Ringo Catalogue More Shiroi Kobato Love is Blind Yer Blues Kareha Kuroi Orufe OSCA Killer Tune Get It Up for Love Dynamite I could also listen to Kyouiku, KZK, Dynamite Out!, Adult and SS from start to finish without a. getting bored or b. even knowing it. Although I find myself doing that less nowadays. |

It would be easier to list the songs that DO get old fast for me:
- Sigma - Various songs on Variety that I can't remember the name of - Oiran That's probably it. I have all of Shiina/TJ's discography in my Ipod playlist (along with songs from other artists), and have been listening to that playlist for years now. Maybe it's cause I don't listen to any songs usually on repeat? |
