Outside artist help
I was showing my mom the tokyo jihen x ken hirai killer tune and it made me wonder. How many outside artist have ever added to shiina or jihen songs? The only thing I can think of is killer tune, but I do not know much of shiina and her collabs. Someone please educate me.
To clarify, once a song has been released, has there ever been another singer or musician to add to the song (duet, or perhap rearrange in a live performance, a cover anything, has anyone added to a shiina product after she released it?

Off hand, these are the few I remember.
SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS (some live, can't remember the name.) Mukai Shutoku (Kimochi, Crazy Days Crazy Feeling, even though they're not SR songs) Hasegawa Kiyoshi (that boring Ringohan set) er... Saito Neko (HF)

Ken was performing at J-WAVE LIVE 2007 and had Shiina Ringo and the boys (mostly Shiina Ringo) as his special guests, and they performed Killer Tune and a cover of a Southern All-Stars song (Sha La La, I think). This was on TV sometime in October.

This may be the SOIL&"PIMP" you're thinking of (from Sunset Live 2004):

Ah Sunset Live! Exactly what I was referring to.
Anyone knows additional info about this live? For some reason I always found it kinda odd (esp the way SR was dressed). Was it part of some bigger set with other artists performing there?

I've seen some sets by other bands from this show around YouTube, which were during daylight hours. They all tend to being wearing bathing suits and summer garb. From what I can fathom, I looks like it was an all day outdoor concert with several acts. I've never come across a list of acts from it though, but I'm pretty much limited to the English sites concerning that search. |

^ Yeah, I think SA"P"S was the only other notable artist to perform at the 2004 Fukuoka Sunset Live. Zazen Boys or Bloodthirsty Butchers might have been there too, but I can't remember clearly.
Anyway... Mikio Hirama has performed Kao all by himself. Does that count?
