Against most teams Varejao's feistiness and Wallace's physical bumping in the paint would be enough. Boozer might opt out...muhaha, how would the Cavs feel about signing him? I won't pencil the Lakers in for the ring just yet. They fold under pressure and Kobe hasn't proven anything yet. The Magics are a deeper team and Bynum isn't really earning his big dollar extension. |
Ha Varejao and Wallace will both be gone and being "enough" against most teams doesn't matter when you're playing the best teams. Hedo and Rashard weren't even the only matchup problems. The Cavs got gutted by Pietrus and Rafer. LeBron and Delonte were the only guys to play at a decent level.
Signing Boozer... Years ago I would've said he'd never be welcome in this city again. Now I don't think it's that much of a stretch since the fans don't care and we have all new ownership. |
remember when fouls were actually acts where you hit, smacked, or grabbed a player, rather than working your body around so you wrap the defenders arm on to you and take a jump shot with the whistle?
EDIT: lol @ Gasol. Yesterday was printed him saying how "hes not soft" and blah blah blah "Euros > Americans". Well hes looking pretty damn soft tonight getting ownd by Dwight! |
LA lakers
woot. that's what i was talking about. the world is back in order, the economy can only get better. |
It's the most wonderful daay of the yeeearr!
NBA Draft day! |
wow, kobe and artest. that's two guys on the other team who aren't scoring @____@.
|
T-minus how long until the Artest-fueled Laker implosion, Maou, Choobies?

what would one do when double teamed by kobe and artest? :O |
Phil Jackson handled Dennis Rodman...I don't doubt the man can handle Ron Ron. What they have to worry about is how much Ron Artest has left in the tank.
The Lakers wouldn't have a championship right now if not for a few critical plays that Ariza made. It's incomprehensible to me why they would choose Artest over Ariza. Now...if you can dump Lamar Odom for Artest that I can understand. This is the Mavericks year. Mark Cuban is just waiting for a team to fall out of contention and he'll use his Dampier/Buckner/Gooden trade chips to get a premier big man. |
