Or is Junji the child's surname?

I cannot into japanese name to figure out which is his surname. Junji or Yayoshi?

Yayoshi is the surname there. I still haven't seen RINGO EXPO yet (I know, I know) and can't comment, but if Junji is really her son's name, it'd be his first name.

Granted, since it's equally possible that his name is Sonata with really weird Ringokanji, I suppose anything is possible.

this post on Tokyohive about Ringo's interview in that LIPS magazine which includes this line:

To be taken with a grain of salt, as this seems like it could easily be a mistranslation of "her child with Junji" or something along those lines (especially since I'd find it sort of surprising for her to have named her son after her husband that way). Still, it might be worth trying to find a copy of the magazine to find out for sure.

I have a copy of the magazine if anyone wants to translate it??

Keen! If you feel like scanning it, then by all means please do; I'd be happy to take a crack at it.

If I'm remembering correctly, Ringo's son introduced himself as the the "child of the Kronekodow" or something like that at the Ringo Expo. I'm no expert on Japanese naming customs by any means, but I believe the child's surname is Shiina. I thought I read sometime ago that Yayoshi joined Shiina's family/koseki/whatever.

Yes, exactly. He called himself "Kuronekoya's young master." And also, all of that is true; his last name is likely Shiina.

Also, his speech during Ringo Expo 08 is translated here.
