Who wrote your least favourite/worst Tokyo Jihen song
So, out of the 7 members (in total), who wrote (music only- do not focus on lyrics) your absolute most hated/disliked Tokyo Jihen song.
If you vote, you must list your culprit, and the song in question. YOU CAN ONLY PICK ONE SONG. For example, mine is: HZM for Service. Cause it's annoying. Like Hamsterdance/Miku annoying. EDIT: If the song's music is credited to 2 people, choose which person you like less/hate the most :wakka: |
Uki for Mirror Ball[/obvious answer] (edit: or Uki for Kaitei ni Sukuu Otoko)

Service is amusing, like Ringo on crack.

Kameda.
And the best part is that he even provides a big margin of error, because he has delivered many songs I don't find compelling at all (Toumei Ningen, Senkou Shoujo, and the especially awkward 21 Seiki Uchuu no Ko), but they are raised to the status of 'least favorite', 'worst' or 'annoying' just by being included in many concerts and at certain key moments of them. |
You know, I was thinking about this. The real question is, "What is your least liked song?" and I was going through the tracks on Variety; then CarlX brought up "Toumei Ningen"
|
Kameda for Senkou Shoujo. And then whoever wrote Noriki. Maybe it's because those two ruined Sports for me, but I feel like they're genuinely my least favorite TJ songs.

I really want to say "if you can touch it", but you said to ignore lyrics.
And Honto no Tokoro would be too easy. I vote: UKI for Metro. That song is so simple, and has no funk or crazy to make up for it. Also, Katsute Otoko whatever. And a billion other songs. Now that I think about it, I like a few Uki song (Kimaru, Mirroball, OSCA), but the majority I dislike. |

Anyway, I vote Izawa for horror-dust.. |
Somehow I have a feeling that when the dust has settled here poll-wise, it'll be Kameda in a landslide.
Anyway, he's my choice, since he was responsible for Senkou Shoujo, which is one of the only Jihen songs I always skip no matter what, plus I've never liked any his compositions for Jihen (with Osorubeki Otonatachi being the sole exception, although that one was half Ringo). They're so vacantly poppy and stale. Reading that "discovery albums" list of his in Switch - you only get six albums, and yet besides hilariously putting Sports on there, you also include both RHCP and the fucking Carpenters? - instantly made me go "wow, suddenly it makes so much more sense why he writes stuff like that." |
