Anyone else like the wails and shrieks Shiina Ringo does at the end of her songs?
They're almost non-existent in the entirety of KSK, which is ironic since that is my favorite album by her, but I love how she does this in her songs. I like it a lot better than just letting the music play for the last minute or so.
Examples of my preference: 3:35-4:13 of Honnou 4:42-5:24 of Tsumi to Batsu 3:27-4:01 of Suberidai 3:01-3:33 of Omatsuri Sawagi Examples of music just playing: 2:32-3:23 of Sounan 2:49-3:43 of Killer Tune 2:40-3:33 of Gunjou Biyori 3:28-6:23 of Izonshou Whenever I would watch Tokyo Jihen performances, I noticed she would always stick around on the stage during Dynamite Out but in later concerts she would actually leave and let the band finish the song. I definitely prefer her sticking around and singing even if she isn't singing any real lyrics. It just sounds great. In fact, the last part of Tsumi to Batsu just makes the song for me. Great song topped off with an explosive ending. Or maybe I'm just crazy. |
she leaves because she needs costume changes and crap...and I guess to let the attention fall on only the band for a little. I have to say when I saw her live her presence commanded everyone's attention. although I would say my time was split between watching her and Hata, out of every other member in the band he has the most fun when he is playing live
and his arms are amazing ;;gayness;; |
i adore the wailing.. especially as you mentioned with Tsumi to Batsu for me it really makes the song.. though i also love Sounan's musical playout.. some songs need a wail and some need a play out.

I simply love her voice so the more I hear it, the better.

I remember her doing a massive orgasm noise at the end of Keikoku.
